Ruby Costa, Co-Executive Editor

Ruby is a senior in her fourth year of Journalism, and she hopes to end her last year on a good note. She first joined the class out of a passion for writing and an interest in what Journalism would look like in a school environment. When not writing articles, Ruby likes to read, watch movies, eat at new restaurants, and enjoy time with her cat.

Lauren Chavez, Co-Executive Editor 

Lauren is a senior in her third year of journalism. She joined the class because she was looking at journalism as a possible career choice and because she wanted to learn to write in a different way. When not editing or writing articles, Lauren enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.

Rheya Bushan, Senior Opinion Editor

Rheya is a junior, in her third year of journalism. She joined journalism to express her opinions and ideas about different global events, as well as deepen her writing skills. In her free time she loves to read, write, kickbox, do origami and she enjoys putting her time into multiple community organizations and volunteering.

Hugh Cochrane, Photo Editor

Hugh Cochrane is a junior who is in his second year of journalism. He joined because he has always been interested in politics and regularly watches the news. He spends most of his free time running with the cross country team and taking photos.

Aiden Damasco, Features Editor & Web Developer

Aiden is a senior, and this is his second year taking journalism. He originally joined Journalism to write stories with his friends, and this year, he hopes to keep writing interesting things for the school community. Outside of school, he enjoys playing video games with his friends and learning about historical topics.

Sophia Nagra, Senior Arts & Entertainment Editor

Sophia is a senior in her third year of journalism, serving as Social Media Manager, Community Outreach Manager, A&E editor, and founder of The Prensa’s first ever advice column, Take it or Leave it. In hopes of making an impact in the school community and having a creative outlet, she decided to pursue her passions of writing sophomore year, and hasn’t looked back since. Outside of school, you can find Sophia hiking, hanging out with friends, traveling, at Starbucks, or, Montgomery Village.

Ryan Win-Ruan, Senior News Editor

Ryan is a junior, and this is his third year in the class. He joined journalism in order to improve his writing skills and immerse himself in the local community. When he’s not writing articles or doing homework, you can find him drawing and doodling, or reading in a quiet corner.

Izzy is a senior in her first year of journalism. She joined the class because she wants to explore her passion for writing and get experience with reporting. Outside of school, Izzy loves to bake, go on walks, and watch movies with her friends.

Caeden Eu Ren Chee, Staff Writer

Caeden is a sophomore in his first year of journalism. He joined this class because he had a free period in his schedule and wanted to improve his analysis and writing skills. He likes to listen to music, hang out with his friends and travel the world. In the future, he hopes to become a better writer and photographer.

Ava is a freshman in her first year of journalism. She joined journalism because she wanted to improve her writing skills. In her free time, she can be found reading, watching sports, or listening to music.

Eva Cruz, Staff Writer

Eva is a sophomore in her first year of journalism. She joined journalism to have Ms. Wolper as a teacher for another year. Outside of school she plays lots of sports, hangs out with friends, and does way too much homework.

Christopher Haraszti, Staff Writer

Christopher is a senior who is in his first year of Journalism. He joined in order to get more comfortable with writing and develop his intrapersonal skills. In his free time, he enjoys programming game modifications, volunteering to teach programming, learning about international politics, and dancing.

Esmond Hoang, Senior Staff Writer

Esmond is a junior at MCHS. He joined Journalism in sophomore year to connect with the school and other students. In his free time, he loves to hang with his friends and family. A hobby he enjoys is creating art.

April is a freshman in her first year of journalism. She joined this class to improve her writing, communication, and team abilities. Outside of school she can be found going outside, taking extracurriculars, and spending time with family and friends.

Lily Peltz, Staff Writer

Lily is a sophomore, in her first year of journalism. She joined journalism as a way to share her thoughts on the things she thinks really matters, and also to have fun with some low stress writing. Other than journalism, she enjoys drawing and painting, reading, and thrifting.  She also spends her time working as a Junior Keeper at Safari West.

Daisy Riley, Staff Writer

Daisy is a sophomore in her first year of journalism. She joined the class because she really likes Ms. Wolper’s style of teaching, and she likes to bring attention to under discussed topics. In her free time, Daisy loves to go shopping, go on long walks, watch movies, hang out with friends, and dance.

Etienne Romatier, Staff Writer

Etienne is a junior in his first year in the journalism class. He joined the class because he thought it would be a fun and interesting way to expand his writing abilities. Outside of school, you can most likely find Etienne either swimming for the Neptunes, or in the middle of nowhere camping.

Onario Rose, Staff Writer

Onario is a sophomore and is in his first year of journalism. He joined the class because he wanted to meet new people, get to know his classmates, and learn how to write in a new and creative style. He is excited to learn more about journalism and improve his writing throughout the year. Outside of school, you can usually find Onario at swim practice, working as a lifeguard, or shopping in Corte Madera with his friends and family. He enjoys spending time with the people around him and staying active whenever he can.

Saayan is a senior in his first year of journalism. He joined journalism because he wanted to strengthen his writing abilities, and learn new styles of writing. Outside of journalism he enjoys playing tennis, practicing the clarinet, and hanging out with friends.

Nora is a junior at MCHS. She joined journalism in her sophomore year to expand her writing skills and meet new people. In her free time she loves to hike, go for walks, and spend time with friends. She enjoys writing and English is her favorite subject.
