Puma Profiles
The Maria Carrillo High School Puma community continues to be shaped by individuals who stand out every day, not just for what they achieve but for how they impact the people around them.
Through personal stories and interviews, The Puma Prensa’s Puma Profiles highlights the day-to-day lives, challenges, and accomplishments of students, staff, and community members. This year’s profiles feature students like photographer Quinn Stahl, whose work captures campus life through a creative lens, and Claire Howard, an MCHS graduate who played Division 1 soccer while returning as an occasional substitute. Alongside them are dedicated faculty, substitutes, and community figures who each play a role in shaping the Puma experience.
These Puma Profiles aim to recognize their contributions and remind readers that meaningful, inspiring stories are unfolding all around us — often closer than we think.
