“Battle in the Bay”: a local taekwondo tournament

On 24 January, Santa Rosa’s own Fairgrounds held a tournament run by the American Taekwondo Association (ATA). Senior Master Nicholas Schafer hosted the tournament, and several other masters of various ranks were present. 

The tournament officially commenced at 9:00 AM and lasted all the way up until around 5:00 PM, ending with the team sparring events.

The tournament was one of the largest hosted in the Fairgrounds by the ATA, much to the satisfaction of the masters and taekwondo school owners present.
