One of the busses going to Santa Rosa Airport (April Huang / The Puma Prensa)

Santa Rosa has rolled out a new airport security feature—bringing even more speed and consistency to your next flight.
A new bus service, which operates under the name Landline, will be making direct, non-stop rides from Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) to San Francisco Airport (SFO). There are eight round-trip rides daily, leaving STS at times ranging from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. and returning from SFO from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. These rides come as a part of Landline's new program, Straight to Gate.
And while direct transit is nice, it’s not the only thing being improved upon: with the new system, you can now pass through security at STS, skipping the long lines at SFO, while getting a ride to San Francisco for only $55. And to sweeten the deal, kids 15 and under ride free.
Since security at SFO is skipped, the bus will drop you right at the gate. With no waiting in lines or getting lost in the airport, this is a great choice for those who are in a rush, easily lost, or just interested in trying out this new airport system.
Despite its utility, it is, unfortunately, limited to passengers flying United, Hawaiian, Alaska, JetBlue. However, the company says there will be more airlines to come.
Reservations are available now at sfo.landline.com, and bus rides will begin on November 17.
